To avoid cancer, retain the most vitamins do NOT cook at all. Did you
read my previous post?

"Water used for cooking can also dissolve and wash away even more of
those vitamins -- the water soluble ones. Therefore, any cooking that
minimizes the time, temperature, and amount of water needed will help
to preserve nutrients. Microwave cooking is one of the best ways to
preserve nutrients because it needs minimal water, and the cooking
time is very short. Pressure cooking under steam is the next best
because it too minimizes time and requires little water. Other methods
for nutrition are steaming in a little water, stir frying, and boil-in-
bag" http://yourtotalhealth.ivillage.com/how-retain-nutrients-in-cooking.html

Exactly.. It is illogical to destroy nutrients and add carcinogens..

Occupying all parts of the globe is NOT a nutritional benefit. Fire
allowed people to overpopulate out of habitat during/following the ice
age but it is a natural nutritional compromise.

and the case for

?? Animals don't use fire and don't denature their food and don't
contribute to degenerative diseases so this is in contrast to humans
who do all of the above and worse.. There is no "comparison"

Or do a Pubmed search to see if meat really is nutritionally
advantageous. So far nobody has provided 1 human adaptation to benefit
from trading any amount of available fruit for any amount of meat.
Fruit reverses, postpones, prevents diseases that meat contributes to.
If you are acculturated to prefer the taste of meat that's another
story..
